RACE was responsible for installing the HVAC system in the expansion and remodeling of BIAL’s Solid Production Unit (OSD), also integrating a new area for OSD Products in the Industrial Building. The main objective of this intervention was to ensure the classification of production areas in accordance with international cGMP and FDA standards, which are essential in the pharmaceutical industry.

The project included the installation of two chillers with heat recovery (1,600 kW), eight air-handling units with humidity control, and eleven electric pumps. RACE introduced significant improvements to the installation, optimizing system control and enhancing the layout and sizing of piping and ducts, ensuring a technical solution that is efficient, safe, and compliant with the highest quality and regulatory standards.
