RACE participated in the expansion of the Maia Depot, a project that encompassed the North and Central warehouses as well as the Service Center.

The work included the installation of VRV and split systems for air conditioning in social areas and offices, as well as solutions for ventilation, smoke extraction, and pressurization. A Hot Water Plant was also implemented, with heat recovery from the cooling exchangers of the superheated steam and the compressor oil from the refrigeration project.

The project also included the installation of compressed air networks for the workshop area and supply to the hygiene plants, as well as the production and distribution of hot water for washing and defrosting tanks.

For more efficient operation, a Building Management System (BMS) was supplied, installed, and commissioned, allowing the monitoring and control of all systems, ensuring energy efficiency and operational reliability.
