Recheio inaugurated its new 5,000 m² store in Cascais, the brand’s second unit in the municipality, strengthening its presence in the region. RACE was responsible for installing the HVAC and Domestic Hot Water (DHW) systems in a project that combines energy efficiency and sustainability.

Cooling and heating for the refrigeration and climate control systems are provided by a central plant using CO₂ as the refrigerant, an environmentally friendly option. Heat recovered from the central plant is used to supply the store’s domestic hot water.

The building is also equipped with an intelligent energy management system that monitors consumption and automatically adjusts lighting and temperature throughout the day, promoting more efficient operation.

This new store marks another milestone for Recheio in a special year celebrating its 50th anniversary.
