RACE has successfully completed another refrigeration retrofit project in Póvoa de Lanhoso. The existing refrigerant, R404a, was removed and replaced with R449a.

This procedure has been carried out in several installations in compliance with the European F-Gas Regulation, which imposes restrictions on the use and commercialization of fluorinated gases that have a higher environmental impact in the event of atmospheric release.
