MODIS, located in Maia, is the distribution center responsible for the centralized distribution of ambient, refrigerated, or frozen food products, as well as non-food products of the SONAE Group, to the northern region. This project required full coordination of all specialties and technical systems to accommodate the entire pick-picking and cross-docking operation while maintaining optimal product temperatures and conditions.

We carried out the refrigeration installation, with a total capacity of 630 kW and 6,000 m² of insulated panels. This was a reference project for a facility vital to the distribution operations of the SONAE Group.
