Project Description
Using a design-build approach, the refrigeration project at the Meat Processing Center for Sonae MC’s retail network was executed with the goal of ensuring the highest quality for beef, lamb, goat, and pork products processed at the facility.
The system comprises an NH₃ (R717) and glycol water refrigeration setup, delivering a total cooling capacity of 2,714 kW. The refrigeration panel covers an area of 29,261 m², while the cold storage chambers have a combined volume of 20,670 m³.
The installation is currently undergoing ongoing renovation and expansion to modernize the facility and enhance operational efficiency.
