Leroy Merlin Alverca
Leroy Merlin implemented an advanced and efficient climate control system in its building, covering a total area of 5,680 m². Indoor air conditioning and ventilation are provided by high-performance rooftop units, complemented by indoor units such as 4-way cassettes and air handling units with cross-flow heat recovery. The installed system delivers a total thermal capacity of 230 kW for cooling and 250 kW for heating, ensuring efficient and reliable performance.
To enable integrated management of all building systems, a building automation and control system (BMS – SACE) was implemented, allowing centralized monitoring and control of climate control, domestic hot water, lighting, energy meters, security, and more. The project also includes a smoke extraction system for the storage and retail areas, with mechanical supply via low-level fans and grilles, and mechanical exhaust performed by three high-level smoke extraction fans.
The implementation of these solutions achieves an optimal balance between comfort, energy efficiency, and safety for both employees and customers.
