The stadium, inaugurated on September 27, 2003, with a concert by The Rolling Stones, involved RACE (then operating as SISTAVAC) for the supply and installation of the HVAC system throughout the complex, including technical areas and support facilities.

The project, awarded in 2002, included the installation of ventilation and smoke extraction systems, a Building Management System (BMS), and the associated electrical installations.

This stadium was one of the key sports complexes used during the organization of EURO 2004 in Portugal, demonstrating RACE’s capability to deliver large-scale solutions with reliability, safety, and efficiency.
