Eurocast inaugurated its second industrial facility in Portugal, located in Estarreja, with a production area exceeding 21,000 m², dedicated to die-cast aluminum for automotive components. RACE was responsible for the implementation of the Building Management System (BMS), which fully controls the facility’s air conditioning and ventilation systems.

This integrated solution also enables cooling of hydraulic press water, as well as monitoring of air conditioning, ventilation, water pumping systems, main electrical panels, and generator sets.

This landmark project in the region was executed in just five months, following its award in November 2016, and complies with the most demanding national engineering standards. RACE’s intervention included the installation of air conditioning, ventilation, smoke extraction, BMS, and the monitoring of the operation of all equipment.
