As part of the brand’s expansion strategy, the new Continente Modelo store in Carregado offers its customers a BAGGA café, integrated into Sonae MC’s Easy Food concept, an MO store dedicated to clothing and accessories, and a Well’s unit, specializing in health products and services. This new retail space provides the population of Alenquer with a diverse range of services in a single location.

With a sales area of approximately 2,000 m², the store created 93 new jobs, contributing to the local economic development.

RACE was responsible for the execution of several technical specialties in this Sonae MC unit, with particular emphasis on the installation of air conditioning, ventilation, and smoke extraction systems, as well as the integration of the HVAC system with refrigeration units. This solution helped mitigate condensation issues on refrigerated equipment doors, optimizing their performance and efficiency.

The intervention also included the installation of domestic hot water systems and the implementation of a Building Management System (BMS), allowing efficient control of all installed systems.
