RACE has recently completed the design/build project for the Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine clinic of our client Ferticentro. The facility covers a total of 537 m², of which 73 m² are classified as cleanrooms with very specific hospital requirements (Operating Theatre, Embryology Laboratory, Andrology Laboratory, and Cryobiology Laboratory).

The HVAC system consists of five air handling units specially designed for cleanroom environments, custom-built for this installation. Due to the stringent hygiene requirements and the intended lifecycle, the units were developed in compliance with C4 certification (EN ISO 12944-6).

With this project, RACE successfully met the demanding challenges of the healthcare sector, delivering a clinic designed to become a scientific and technological reference in the field of Reproductive Medicine in Portugal.
