Installation of a cooling system and catering equipment
In 2017 we executed the cooling system and catering equipment project at the new IKEA store in Loulé. This work consisted of the installation of two central units (R134A and R407C cooling fluids) to supply the cooling and deep-freeze chambers, in addition to all the refrigeration equipment located in the areas assigned to catering. The equipment featured a total cooling power of 45.820 W.
The philosophy and technology behind the control system implemented was all designed by RACE, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility, as well as a certified system for registering the temperature in the chambers, thereby guaranteeing the standards of quality required for the stored products.
The process for the design and execution of the Catering, Bistro and Swedish Store line was developed in partnership with the client, in accordance with the requirements and needs of the premises in question. IKEA was the first international store to implement this innovative solution.
